We don’t rescue dogs or cats ourselves but our kennels are of such high quality and the care so comprehensive and loving that we are often asked by charities to take in dogs and /or cats that have nowhere else to go and would possible be put to sleep before their time. We then assist in the re homing process on the charities behalf until we find the right match then we hand it back to the charity to complete the legalities.
We have 2 dogs to rehomed at the moment. 2 labs a choc 3 years and black 7 years old. These boys are lovely and are just in need of a home because of a change in their family’s circumstances. They really could do with going together.

The first is ROCCO for the Rhodesian Ridgeback society.
He is just over 1 year old and came to us in a terrible state having been starved and mistreated. He is a boisterous boy who has never been taught any manners. We have got him up to a reasonable weight now as when he arrived in March he weighted only 23kg. He will now sit for food and can walk on a lead ( he had never seen one of those new fangled contraptions before coming here!!) He needs lots of love but also a firm hand as he can be VERY excitable and unruly if left without checking.
Our second is MAX for the RSPCA.
Max is a 10month old Rottweiler cross( poss. with a Collie or a German Shepherd ) he is ADORABLE!! He is soft, playful, obedient and loving and I have no idea why this dog is still here. He initially had a problem with women, but now loves the fairer sex as much as the men. He loves treats, walks and playing tuggie. He just needs stability. He is fine with other dogs if introduced correctly and with children. This boy just needs a chance.
